Hi,
I think there was an error in my explanation.
When = as (not is) to get SALAD.

As for the replacement/anagram indicator, perhaps this could be open for discussion. I know now in this case the setter had intended "takes over" to have the direct interpretation as a replacement indicator, but for hunts in general, isn't it a norm for an anagram indicator to consist of any word that indicates "change"? So is it possible that in another hunt, in another question, in another phrasing, "takes over" could be used as an anagram indicator?

Anyway, admittedly i had no explanation for the left out "ideally" and as Jaymen has pointed out, this just isn't "tight" enough to be accepted for a hunt of his standards. :-)

Best Regards,
SinYL
